Bartlesville, OK(Zone 6a)

Opened today, I am oohing and ahhhing all over the place.
I am pretty sure this one didn't bloom last year or I would have remembered it.
It is a mini.

Very pretty, I thought all of my iris were tb's until they started blooming for the first time this year. I am happily surprised.

Buster is definitely waaaaay cute! Love those blue beards and the way they contrast with the plic colors. I'll have to keep my eyes out for that one.

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

Amen , needs to go to plant files

South Hamilton, MA

'Buster' is hybridized by Barry Blyth of Australia. 'Yippee Skippy' is from Paul Black of Mid-America gardens. They are both plicata irises which are the name for the markings superimposed on a white or yellow background. If you want fancier colors of any size bearded iris look for the plicata color listing.

Actually, Yippy Skippy appears to be a luminata rather than a plicata.
