My neighbors have an indoor bunny. Would there be value in asking for the droppings when they clean its cage to add to the compost pile?
Bunny poop in compost?
My friend's daughters used to have rabbits - she said it was the best poop she ever got her hands on. She grew incredible roses with the help of Rabbit manure.
I have not used it. Perhaps someone else can speak from personal experience.
Rabbit poop is one of the best! By all means, grab it and add. It's very "mild" so you can actually use it in the flower/veggie bed in a pinch.
Great! My neighbors already think I'm nuts. Last year when they briefly had ducks I asked them for duck poop (which was gross) so they probably won't be the least bit phased if I ask them for rabbit poop!
