Do Violas bloom from seed the first year?

Will they? I am trying my hand at crossing some and I'd like to know if they bloom from seed the first year. Thanks guys!!!

I sow the seeds every year in mid August and they bloom at the end of Noember .
And now on full bloom!

Hi bonitin,

That's name is "Blue swirl". I grow violas from seed every year to save
seedlings money:)
These are different viola "apricot shade".
