Hi All,
I meant to save the leaf so I could take a picture of the orange powdery looking stuff but got upstairs and my husband said "what did you do with the leaf?" Downstairs I went and looked all over in the patio but couldn't find it. Unfortunately we clipped off all the leaves that had the orange stuff on them....I was going to climb into the garbage bin but decided against it ;-)
Could this be rust? It only appears on the underside of our one rose tree 'Elle'. We saw it last year before we pruned it way back and it's had several blooms already but now we're seeing the bright orange stuff again.
Can anyone recommend a treatment for this?
Thanks,
Nancy
Orange rust on the underneath of rose leaves?
Sure sounds like rust. Here is some good information. http://www.rosemagazine.com/articles02/pages/rust.asp
