Awe thanks wanttobegardener & cacolos....

Do either of you have any coral bells? I planted some last spring and I'm not sure if I should cut them back or not? They have burnt edges from the winter...
I've heard some are sensitive to cutting back? They were so beautiful last year!
Peach melba and marmalade...I can't wait to see all the new things pop up that I planted last year!

Have a Wonderful Sunshiny Day!!

Hey detheo,
You can cut off the burnt leaves it helps clean 'em up! But lots of us don't have time to tend to every flower and this is one that will come through looking just fine as the spring eases in!
WELCOME!!! see you around the sites you will love it here!!

I'm sorry detheo. Somehow I missed your welcome topic. I hope you are enjoying your time spent on Daves and I'm especially glad you're here in the Michigan forum. As for your question, I like to do my big cleanup in the fall. I go through and cut everything down and get all the clutter picked up so in spring I don't have to disturb wet soil and compact it doing all the cutting and picking up. Your perennials will be just fine with a major cutback.

Omgoodness we are camero lovers too....
WOOO HOOOO...
My husband had a 67 camero....unfortunately I sold it...
Mr. Racecar vroom vroom got in to much trouble with it!!
And then I had a Red 76 camero that I just loved....
I drove that till the frame cracked in half, he didn't feel like
restoring it again...I cried when the tow truck came to take it away!

You have an awesome ride there...I'm way jealous...
Although DH did go look at one last week to buy...
didn't pan out...it wasn't at all what the owner said it was (condition)
and he wanted to much $$ for what it was...DH said it looked like
the guy took a paint brush and painted it LOL...I can only imagine.

Have fun in that lil camero this summer ;o)
