Suz' No Fail "Impossible Goat Milk Soap" Tutorial

After spending all day searching and a dozen or so web sites that I can understand
I found this one http://www.oregontrailsoaps.com/SuzNFIGMSoap.html has anyone tried this ?
I have a real fear of blowing things up so this one is to me the safest I have found.

But I do have a few questions,
1. She says you can use any of your favorite soap recipes, Cold or Hot?
2. Can Fragrance and herbs(facial soap) be added?
3. Basic soap recipes, Does any one have one they are willing to share?
I have found so many different ones on the net that I am sooo confused, Can't a basic recipe be used and just different Fragrances added?
