I bought about four different Iris rhizomes from the the guy on Ebay last fall. The snow here has finally melted off. Most of my bulbs and rhizomes are sprouting. The ones I got from Ebay only one made it he "Immortality". Kind of funny if you think about it...anyway...the other one dried out and two of them had a strange growth on them. Kind of looks like blue frogs eggs stuck all over the bulbs. The bulbs were really soft and easily pulled apart. It's normally really dry here so I usually don't have problems with diseases just grasshoppers! My other Iris's are all doing fine I didn't plant them near the new ones just in case something like this would happen.
Does anyone know what disease that would be and does it spread? Tips to treat this just in case?
