So THIS is what the one my friend gave me is called!!!!! I had no idea. This is a nice story. My friend lives outside of St. Louis, & the original irises were her mother's. her mother passed away, & she transplanted them from her mother's home to her home. 2 years ago, when we all met in WV, we each were given a cutting from these plants. mine were the first to flower, & she never knew what the name was.
