Re: Does anyone know who the Hybridnizer of

Allentown, NJ(Zone 6b)

Princess Viktoria Luise is? Also what the date would be? I have "her" but during the move lost my tag and can't remember if I had anyone listed on it or not.
Thanks

Went to the database and there is iris listed with that name. Even checked under just Princess.

There is an entry for PRINZESS VIKTORIA LUISE. No info with it, so that might mean it is an historic? There are so many different spellings for this lady. Also an Oriental poppy of that name.

See if someone has access to older checklists. Certainly from the spelling it is of European origin.

In the 1939 & other older check lists there are symbols for color which are listed somewhere (I think) in the front.

Lebanon, OR

listed as Y9L
that says in the front it will be a bitone yellow with pink to red tones

Thanks to everyone.
I knew it was a historical, very similar to Loreley and also same hybridnizer, which I also have. I brought those two from my grandmother's home. I was spelling Prinzess wrong.
