I bought these at the Houston Bulb Mart a couple of years ago. They were labeled as the best Iris for partial shade conditions. I cannot remember what type they were. Can someone ID this for me. The blooms are about 2 inches across and much smaller than the La. Iris. This is a close up of a single bloom. They do exceedingly well here in a difficult location. They are in a shady street side bed beneath a live oak. This bed periodically gets flooded when it rains heavily, but it doesn't seem to bother them.
