Since our youngest has left for college, I have returned to quilting (yeah)! I have a few quilt tops finished and ready to hand quilt. I thought I would brush up on my technique (or lack thereof), read a few books, and came across 'The Perfect Stitch' by Roxanne McElroy. Beautiful work! Ms. McElroy sells a thimble that looks great - the Roxanne Thimble. It also costs $75 (minimum) and needs to be fitted.
Before I take the plunge and regret it - has anyone used this thimble and is it worth the cost? If not, what type of thimble do you recommend for hand quilting?
