Apollo Has Risen

Denham Springs, LA(Zone 8b)

I went outside to finish weeding my side flower bed that I had started on a month ago and found not one, but two Apollo Iris blooming. What a treat!

Gloria,

I have it saved as a Dutch Iris. Let me think. Honestly don't remember, lol.

I'll search for it and post you some links.

Hmm, I am no expert, but I have found most Iris are pretty hard to kill. That's why I love them so much. I even have some that I had to remove from the front flower bed due to an unscheduled uprooting by a tractor that are just lying in a old recycling bin with hardly any dirt that still have very nice green foliage. If the price is low enough, I say give it a shot.
