Gold leaf paint info

Fleming, OH

Ok, here's another odd item that I somehow inherited -
Baer's Klondike Gold Leaf Paint
The bottom can holds the laquer type finish - while the gold colored dust is in the top. According to the back label - so easy to apply, a child can do it :-)
I'm guessing that it was used to decorate picture frames or lamps and such. I know what gold leaf is but I did a google search with different variations of the name and couldn't find anything about this particular brand. Was wondering how old this is??
I wish I was a little more into antiques. You folks are so knowledgeable here and have some beautiful and interesting things. I love to look at them, but truth be known - I don't like to dust them. lol Some day I'll have to dig out the old green punch bowl set and get the scoop on it.
