Hi- I posted this on the Rhododendron forum as well, but I have some R. atlanticum that I potted up last week, and this week they all have this white powder on them. Does anyone know what exactly it is, and how I can get rid of it?
Thanks!
White powdery stuff?
That looks like scale to me, and I would suggest spraying with a horticultural oil. You'll need to repeat in about a week, and perhaps another week later. Need to suffocate all of the crawlers as they hatch....
