Oddly enough, I just bought one today at Walmart. I can't find the tag right now that was with it, so I'm not sure what species, but it indicated that it would grow to about 3 feet. I've never owned one before, but I love them. They had just a couple left. I intend to do some research when I get time, as I thought these trees got much larger. It was only between $3 and $4. I looked in the Plantfiles, but didn't find much.
You might check with Walmart to see if they have any. This may be a dumb question, but how would I go about mailing a tree? It's in a one-gallon container with soil.

Our Wal-Mart had them a few weeks ago and I thought about getting one but didn't! Last time I was in there, they were all gone!

Eucalyptus get pretty large: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/51537/ but they are beautiful trees!

Walmart, hmm. May have to go look. Didn't think of them. Thank you for the suggestion.

My Walmart had none. So the hunt continues.

The tag that came with mine said it would get 12-36"--that must be a mistake, unless it's just a different variety. I'd love to have a large one. They are really beautiful.

They have seeds:

So, they do. Hmmm... Thank you.

Carol Our Home depot has them this year. Sounds like several growers are suppling the box stores. May be more common this year.

Thank you. I may have to look there.
