Looks on this picture to be #7 - Infraspinatus (deep), origin of scapula (deep)

Chewie's sore... off, just a little. His head bobbles, but not indicating a hoof or sore nail issue. Farrier friend came out to confirm. She's actually the one that pointed out the muscle area that is tight.

Feels like a knotted up muscle group. Read a little online, and looks like it isn't a big deal..

How do you DQs treat sore muscles? I've done some massage on it twice now, and liniment (smell that? It's Vetrolin, on my hands.. my poor co-workers probably think I've been bathing in bengay...)
