Farmstand ID

Shelburne Falls, MA(Zone 5a)

I bought a pot of three bulbs for $15 at a farmstand last fall. I had no idea what they were but the price was right. I assumed they were older bulbs. Today 2 are open. Looks like one of them is Dancing Queen. Do you agree?

In the background you can see the other. Here is a better pic. At first I thought it was Pink Floyd, but the color is carmine red.

Back. It's quite small, too.

It's a trumpet form.

Anyone know? I looked through the plantfiles but didn't see it.

The first, I think is Philadelphia. Check that one and see what you think...

The second my be Donau, but that one is somewhat more difficult.

Pretty!

Congratulations! I still have a Philadelphia to send to Raydio. He wants that one desperately!

If the buds of that pink specimen were pink + whitish (NOT greenish) then it should be very probably "Donau" (Danube)

Oh yes. Dancing Queen is much more colorful than Philadelphia! Donau-can't find but bsharf's photo. What do you think bsharf? I knew it was something special cause my heart did a little flutter when the bud fell horizontal! So excited!

I better go take a pic of that bud.

Looks a bit greenish to me.

Of course my second pic is not as green.

The bud got whiter tonite. What would it be if it were greenish?

Solingen, Germany(Zone 7a)

That kind of bare basal greenish is "still" okay for "Donau"

What I have in mind with "pink'n white" is the color profile of the buds and particularly of their tips when they are just emerging out of their bracteous envelope and are still standing upright.
