walmart amaryllis boxes that just say "red", "white", "pink"

I saw some yesterday for $3.50. Am I to assume these are Red Lion? What could white be? pink?
what's your experience w/ these. thanks for your help. If this topic has been discussed, kindly direct me to that thread

these packages are slightly different that the ones you see at Christmas-time.

My guess is Red Lion, Appleblossom, and Ludwig Dazzler, since they are the three that seem to be the most common in big box stores.

The same applies for Germany. And. among the striped cultivars the hybrid "Minerva" is predominant

i think i will go to WM and get the white since I don't have LD.

I agree. And be sure to open the box to check the bulb. I know my WM has some that have been sitting there since Xmas and they have surely opened up inside the box.
