Daily Pics Vol. 74
The poor Indigos look so odd with all that patchy coloring.
Nice pics GP!!
Yes, I see them in all different stages of blue. Thanks Pelle.
Great pics everyone!
Happy 30th Anniv. Rose!
Marilyn
beautiful pics Gardenpom, burn, dinu,Grandmaggie, Nanny, everybody!!!
I'm hoping to see an Indigo Bunting (any Bunting really) in person someday.
Yesterday Janet said Rudy Roadrunner was going to come in & help himself pretty soon. He sure is getting closer. I was watching my afternoon soap (yeah I know) & lol this is who was watching me!!!
LOL, angele, what soap were you watching!
Days of Our Lives.. (hanging my head in shame)
ROTFLOL !!! Too Cute!!!
Nice photos!
I wish we had buntings. They're so pretty. I've been lucky to have a grosbeak pass thru a couple of years now. I hope he comes this year. I haven't got a picture of him yet.
Angele! I've been wondering where you've been! Coincidently I've been reading the DOUL book DD gave me for x-mas in 95. That's about when I quit watching it :))
I have a cardinal too!
Looks like Rudy wanted to come in and watch with you. I can see you two sitting on the couch now, sharing a bowl of snacks.
Now I know why the Roadrunner had that look on his face, lol, only kidding as it sounds familiar but I'm not sure what it's about. Not here just now as far as I know, I watch Neighbours! Drama there.
Rudy is so cute! Hanging my head also, I tape All My Children. GM
Nice Cardinal pic Billy!!
Sorry Nanny not a White-throated Sparrow, I think its a Chipping Sparrow.
Great to see you billie! Those Cardinals are such gorgeous birds!
Nanny there are so many sparrows and I am sure I must have seen more than 3 kinds but I think that is all I have been able to id. I get House, White-crowned & Black-throated for sure. I wonder how many more I have actually seen & just don't know it? They are so hard for me to tell apart.
Hi everybody! I went away for 3 days and now I'm 3 threads behind! Sorry not to comment more specifically, just waaay too many! Great variety of photos, lots of oohs and aahs, and lots of laughs, too.
Pelle: You "sound" like you're feeling better. Hope so!
So, I was down the road a bit in Savannah and these fellas were very brash about begging for some of my lunch down by the river.
Ring-billed gulls. Nagging me. :) No zoom necessary.

Thanks Marilyn!
Very nice pics everyone. Angele that roadrunner is a hoot!
The birds were all acting crazy today singing, flying all over the place and courting I would say. The Starlings didn't eat all the cat food so I know something is going on. I was sitting on a bale of straw watching all the craziness and glanced up on the chicken house and couldn't figure out what "my guy" had in his mouth until I put the pic on the computer.
Male Eastern Bluebird looking like he bit off more than he could chew!
Great pics guys!!
Angele, did Rudy get his treat?
He is so darned cute.
GG

Sweet and beautiful birds! ;-)
Burn...what is the Hairy eating in the Finch feeder?
Tiger...Beautiful shots...love the Quail !
Jane...Love the waterfowl..what is the little bird on the water cooler?
I think this Northern Mockingbird is stalking me, he landed on the light sensor yesterday!
Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day and I think the birds were lured into thinking that spring was here...wrong..supposed to get cold again!
Wallaby...I reduced this pic to "medium" instead of "small" so let me know if you have a problem opening it! Thanks!
Have a beautiful birding day everyone!
