Can I grow these in containers?? If so what size of container and which kind of coneflowers. Im trying to attract hummingbirds and butterflies. My deck faces southwest. Can I start these from seeds? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your container is big enough you can grow almost anything. If you're planting Coneflower seeds, you may not get any blooms the first year. Order a couple bare root plants for your container. Don't know if they will make it through the winter outside in a container though. That's a question for someone else to answer.
If you start the seeds indoors they should bloom this year.
