I bought rosemary and chive seeds today, that I'm going to start now, just to have in a window inside. Since we are in the woods, I think they'll need a light too. I'm guessing the rosemary will need bottom heat since our house is kept close to 60 degrees?
I also bought vining nasturtium seeds. Those little buggers are hard to find - too old fashioned for people maybe. When should I start the nasturtium seeds for west Michigan?
Starting Seeds?
I think the package has the best answer. But those do best with bottom heat also! And grow best with a 65-70 soil temp. They are heat loves. I start vining stuff early so the plant is big enough to vine!
Also use a florescent shop light or a desk light over a group of them with a compact florescent.
Good luck!
Julie
Thanks!
