Useful Links

Long Island, NY(Zone 6b)

I thought it might be helpful to some to share informational links. Perhaps we could keep this thread as a sticky. It would also keep the size down if we limit our comments with no CHATTING. Perhaps directing a question via dmail? Also, instead of adding a new thread for additional links you have already contributed, just edit your existing entry?

Here are a few of mine.

Brilliant!!! Thank you so much Anita! Great idea for a thread, too!

Hey, I have a question. Where do I go to find out how much snow we had this year so far?

Mid-Cape, MA(Zone 7a)

Great idea for a thread, and THANK YOU for the terrific links. I've bookmarked them all!

Below is a site that I go to when I don't want to sound like a complete newbie (which I pretty much AM!) when I attempt to pronounce botanical names. It's from Fine Gardening magazine, and it provides an audio pronunciation guide.

http://www.taunton.com/finegardening/pguide/pronunciation-guide-to-botanical-latin.aspx?

Here is a site that gives images of seeds, seedpods, and seedlings, along with some info of=n germination.

Hi Harper!

This isn't exactly what you were asking for, but it does show the snow accumulations in feet and inches over the North East.
