Well, my well-meaning man bought me some kombucha organic beverages. Ummm, I didn't care for the taste. However, I hate to waste them.
Can some form of hole composting/pail composting similar to bokashi be done with the ingredients? They are still fermenting away in my fridge at the moment.
Thanks, and I hope this isn't a doofus question.
Question about kombucha in starting bokashi type compost
You might try the soil and composting forum.
Okay, will do.
What a shame Kombucha is a wonderful tonic...
kombucha feeds on sugar and tannins in black and green tea. I don't think you would get the same result. Although it's worth a shot if you just plan to toss the stuff.
A few other things Kombucha is good for:
Treat hot spots on dogs.
Skin toner (applied topically) It's also is a gentle way to fade age spots.
Water your plants with it, especially acid loving plants.
If you start by drinking a shot glass full a day, your tongue will get used to the flavor and you may find you develop a taste for it.
