Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Hello farmers. It is a nice sunny day, a bit warm when working in the sun, so I am taking a cool-off break. The weeds are growing, some days I think I am gaining on them, some days the other way around. Earlier today I gave the mules a leading lesson and put fly spray on them.I keep the sessions short so they stay interested. Hubby is stacking firewood. We had corn on the cob, fresh tomatoes, fresh raw asparagus and bell peppers for lunch. Summer is great! Everything but the peppers came from our garden. When it cools off I need to take a ride to exercise one of the endurance horses. Meanwhile, I can clean the horse trailer, load hay and other supplies in preparation for my weekend trip. Hope all of you are having a good day. Remember to count your blessings.
