Bark-mimicking Grasshopper (Coryphistes ruricola)
LOL LOL!!! I thought it was able to change to match the bark of a tree but when I looked it up I found this "Bark mimicking grasshopper, Coryphistes ruricola, so named because of its ability to mimic the bark of the Mexican Chihuahua"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acrididae
Wonderful!
I love that. Someone's got a sense of humour! Since it is an Australian grasshopper, it is not going to hear many Mexican Chihuahuas, LOL
:-))) I didn't even realize it was in Australia! I can't help but think someone is pulling my leg.
Do you have the equivalent of the "Brooklyn Bridge for sale" in Australia?
I don't know tell me more!
It is a saying for people who will believe anything. In the USA after telling an incredible story we will say "and if you believe that I've got a bridge to sell you."
