What is the fastest easiest way to get more of the new patented coneflowers? Since they don't grow true from seed, that isn't an option. Can they be divided every year? Every two years? Can pieces of them be propagated? I hate to pay $12 or more for one plant. Is there some additive that can help convince them to multiply faster?
You can divide them every few years depending on how vigorous each one grows. The newer ones will come down some in price hopefully in the next few years. I have never tried rooting a cutting of these because they do grow so well and are easy to divide. Hope some one else can give you more info. Very pretty pic BTW. :)
