That should be used in a horror flick.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 13
3 to 6 inch range, I think. Wow - some weapon, Al!
Snow gone, but more predicted for Fri. North of Mass. turnpike only 3" is forecast. Luckily as the New England iris hybridizers' meeting is Sat. & always more fun when the people from ME come down. We found that there is a snowdrop so all is not lost.
There was a murder mystery once where the person was killed with an icicle and, of course, the weapon melted. The coroner did determine it was an icicle from the jagged edges.
Nasty icicles Al. Deadly especially from that high up. Yikes!
We are in the 3-6 inch category for Friday. I hope it all just goes away. It was a chilly but pleasant day today.
I remember that too, Pirl. May have been Quincy.
Thanks for the tip Pirl - no fingerprints either right?
No but be careful of holding the icicle too long - frostbite.
Maybe it was Quincy, Victor, but still not as good as the leg of lamb weapon.
Darn! I missed that one... I saw the one about the deadly flying coconut.
Temp 30.2° Wchill 28.4° Cloudy, Wind WSW 3.3mph ☺
I'm sure you already know that birds sleep with half of their brain awake. Seems I know people who live their lives like that.
Very pretty picture, Victor.
Pirl, I have never heard that. Is the half-awake a protection mechanism?
Thanks. I know a few people whose brain is always on snooze.
Sounds like me in the winter.
Hopefully not while you're plowing.

Wake up!
I'm sure it must be, cyndie.
I thought at least it would generate some discussion. ;)
I know there are times when I wish I could sleep while "appearing" to be awake. LOL

I feel that way most nights around this time.
Here's a link about it: http://www.cnn.com/TECH/science/9902/03/birds.eye/
Victor, what kind of bird is that? A house finch?
Cool article Arlene!
I'm not good at bird ID's.
Oh. Okay. Lemme see if Peterson has anything to say about it.
Thanks, Eleanor!
Just ran out in silk pajamas and got two photos. Will post when I thaw out in the morning.
hahahaha - no neighbors out?
Keep it PG Pirl.
That's not bad at all Eleanor.
Thanks Al! I did fix it a little - brightened it so the trees would show!! Eleanor
Nice!!
Good Victor. No way I could do it without one - mine was a 2 sec exposure.
Cool.
Looks like a paw print at the top/right

Only if you bring it back.
