Snow gone, but more predicted for Fri. North of Mass. turnpike only 3" is forecast. Luckily as the New England iris hybridizers' meeting is Sat. & always more fun when the people from ME come down. We found that there is a snowdrop so all is not lost.

There was a murder mystery once where the person was killed with an icicle and, of course, the weapon melted. The coroner did determine it was an icicle from the jagged edges.

Nasty icicles Al. Deadly especially from that high up. Yikes!
We are in the 3-6 inch category for Friday. I hope it all just goes away. It was a chilly but pleasant day today.

No but be careful of holding the icicle too long - frostbite.

I think it is a House Finch, Victor! It is cold outside - went out to take a pic of the moon during the eclipse!! It's dark - guess that is because it is dark outside and my camera doesn't take very good night pics (or I don't take very good night pics)!! Eleanor
