Need advice in Eastern PA

Bethlehem, PA

We recently moved to the lovely Nazareth/Easton area from Eastern Long Island.
I have been unable to find many wonderful garden stores in this area...
I am especially missing the range of glazed terracotta that is so abundant in the Hamptons.
My East Hampton-born husband, a great snot in all matters, calls this the garden-gnome capitol of the world. Would anyone have recommendations within and hour of us that would prove him wrong?
Thank you so much in advance!!!!

I am not sure how far http://www.waterloogardens.com/ is from you but I think it may be within an hour. How exciting a new garden. Good luck.

Kershaw, SC(Zone 8b)

There is/was a few garden centers near or around the New Hope, Pa area. I think, there was one called Shady Oaks, or Shady Acres, Shady something or another. Not sure how far New Hope is from you...even if you don't find the garden center, there are many quaint shops in that area. Also, I know for me it's a hike...but outside of Lancaster, there is the Rodale Institute, can't buy any plants, but they have a lot of reference material, and about a 20 minute or so drive from them is a HUGE nursery/grower garden center...that's really close to a chocalate/ice cream specialty store...if I remember, I'll try and google them for you.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

this will most defiantly be within an hour from you... I have not gone to this yet but I still can't wait... at the Sussex county fairgrounds
