Parkinson Onset Questions

My mother died from Parkinson's. It seems to run in her family. I don't know if it time for me to go have a check up or wait. I am 60.
I have been taking more falls than usual. I have had a problem with falling for several years now which has been attributed to a closed head injury I suffered 9 years ago.
I have started choking when there appears to be no reason. My thinking is a bit slow. I have fibromyalgia so I have a lot of aches and pains. Do I attribute this to being 60 or is it time to go to the doctor?
