Very good, wallaby1. That's the best look I have seen of a Blue Tit.
Thanks trois, the Blue Tit had flown to the string of nuts but saw me nearby, it was waiting 'im'patiently, lol!

Wallaby, Sure there are stories about Starlings... and here is a poem I found.
...Starlings and swallows spruce up their wings.
The return of red robins resume.
Larks and lapwings are lured by the scent
of pansies and poppies perfume...

Here is a cool Robin getting some cranberries... They sure behave as if spring is coming soon.
Nice pics debnes!
Yes lots of storys etc. that mention Starlings. They are a beautiful bird.
That is a lovely poem Deb, thanks for finding it!
I got a pair of Common Buzzards today, they were gliding high and I wouldn't have seen them if I had not been up the road with my camera. I have never seen one before, to get a pair means they may stay longer here, they are usually in Wales and Scotland I guess where it's more mountainous.

They kept crossing paths, I got them together.
Wow, that is a wonderful shot of the buzzard! It is beautiful. The next time someone calls me an old buzzard, I'll thank them!!
This thistle sock was up for three weeks. No one showed any interest at all. Yesterday I moved it -- and today was rewarded by these little guys munching in the snow!! I believe they are Lesser Finch??
GG
Great pics - do you suppose any of my feathered friends would be interested in frozen cranberries?
Give it a try sybil. :-) Let us know your results.
Very nice pics nanny!
