Twiggy Buds, I just planted Mary Todd a few months ago. I am very excited to see it this year and I am wondering how well yours does. How fast does it increase, how many flowers does it have and does it rebloom well?
Sorry to interupt your thread like this, but I have lurking here hoping that somebody would post a picture of Mary Todd. There's no picture of it on PF.
These pictures are really wonderful. Every time I look at the DL forum I come away thinking Oh I've just got to have those now. I'm sure I would run out of paper if I tried to write them all down.:)
Mary Todd is a beautiful thing. Somewhat unusual color more yellow than gold with good substance. Last year was the first for me so I am probably not the best source of info. It did not rebloom and was not a really high bud count. I do expect it to be better this year and in any case, I'll keep it because I love the look.
Here is July Gold which is a great performer, more spidery. It reblooms and has a good bud count. I love this one.
