Has anyone else started them, Mine have been soaking for a few days and I was wondering who else is or has started theirs? This is very exciting for me and these are the first Iris seeds that I try.
edited to add: seeds are from Irisloverdee (thank you)

Epic Poem seed
I haven't started mine yet but I was wondering if you put them in the fridge first?
I checked out the sticky up there and to tell you the truth, I don't remember.. I know that you need to soak them... will re-read it.
I planted mine and did an experiment. Both were soaked for 24 hours. Part planted into the greenhouse (unheated) and in potting soil, the other was in moist paper towel to see what would happen. The ones in the soil have just started to germinate (planted end of Oct) and the ones in the refrig, have not.

Thanks for the update, will soak for 24 hours then plant.
I'm still soaking mine, I want to wait till they get a little more swollen, then they will go on the heatmat.. it will be interesting on how they germinate.. I've been changing the water everyday with hot water and it also has h2o and some superthrive. (trying to cover all bases I guess)..lol. some sink and then float back up when I add new water.. they are looking good so far.
