Daily Pics Vol. 60

As advertised here is the new thread. With this stormy weather the chances for good pics is limited, so I'll start it with this Steller's Jay going after the suet.(taken this morning)

I think I would try to talk BF into a CA vacation just to see a Stellar's Jay. (but I wouldn't tell him that.) They are cool looking. Thanks for all the pics of them Adel

Supper Bowl huddle?

Just finished looing at all the pics on the other thread and they are awesome!! Love the Steller's Jay - I have never seen one before!! I posted a pic of my chirping friend. I think it is a sparrow but don't know what kind. He sits outside my office window and sings to me while I'm on the computer but he never turns around and lets me get a complete view. He sits in the hemlock bushes. I see either his front side or his backside (he or she I should say cause I don't know). Sorry it's not very clear, it was taken through a window with a screen. Two more. It is a lot harder to get close to birds at the end of hunting seasons. Because of the duck hunters and the deer hunters all the wildlife are very cautous.

I got a laugh from the "Supper Bowl huddle" Grasmussen, must have been something good there!

Very chill wind here today, we had a good frost last night. I didn't go out for long,but was followed by my friend Robin.

He flitted across the road onto a gate, giving me the eye.

Wallaby - I just can't get past the cute of these robins. I have saved off these last two pics to draw from. I'll post the results when I'm done - don't know when that will be. I like to make line drawings for kids to color. Here is an example:

We have a nice sunny day here but its windy which makes it feel worse than it is.

Hard to keep up with you fast flying birders! Love all the pictures, and wallaby the Robin is so cute!
