Wainwright, AB(Zone 2b)

I'm wondering if I. siberian Ego and Super Ego are the same cultivar, or are they two different kinds?

This is what it says about
EGO

(McGarvey, R. 1965), Sdlg. 63-4-6. SIB, 32" (81 cm), ML
"Blue self with haft pattern. White Swirl X McGarvey Med-B-Lt-B-Sty. (Gatineau x Caesar's Brother). Old Brook 1966 HM 1967, JC 1968."

and this is the other
SUPER EGO

(McGarvey, R. 1965), Sdlg. 63-2-2. SIB, 30" (76 cm), ML
"S very pale blue, giving appearance of white; F darker blue, shading to white at edges. White Swirl X McGarvey Lg-B. Old Brook 1966 HM 1967, JC 1967 , 1968."

The crosses are very different

Hope this helps

Definitely two different cultivars. There is also Alter Ego.

Thanks you D and Polly for your help. I'm on the lookout for 'Super Ego' then.
