Wow! Lots of gorgeous shots on the last thread!! Everyone has had great pictures to share over the weekend!
Gosh, it was definitely feeding time a few minutes ago, and you can tell that Spring is around the corner because they come to the feeders later and later every day.
So, to start off this thread, I thought I'd post a picture of a American Goldfinch starting to get his yellow back.

By the way, we left off here....
DAILY PICS VOL. 58
Beautiful pics guys!
I love the Blue Tit wallaby; so cute!
Nice pics of the Redpolls and Pine Grosbeak burn!!
Nice start Felicia~ The GF changing into breeding plumage, .... another awesome sign of spring approaching...
Great shot of the Chickadee Pelle :-)
I love those BTs Wallaby!
Beautiful shot of Hoary Redpoll Burn!
:-)
Not yet secure enough to say he's a Hoary (Arctic) But I know for sure he's a Redpoll
I saw well over 100 Redpolls just this morning, but I've never seen one as white as the one in your picture, 007. I'd wouldn't hesitate to call it a Hoary. They are common on the north side of the Alaska Range, but seldom seen on the south side of the mountains where I am.
This is a Pine Grosbeak I shot this morning. A few Grosbeaks were among dozens of Redpolls at a feeder.
Gary
Beautiful pics Gary!!!
Definite Arctic Redpoll, both the one on its own, and the left-hand bird in the second pic.
Worth getting these reported to your regional bird recorder:

Arctic Redpoll in NB: "very rare (not expected annually); documentation desirable"
Might also be worth putting the news out for other birders to see it (provided you don't mind being invaded by crowds of other birders!!!):

Way to go , burn!!
wallaby, love the BT!!
Beautiful, Gary & GP!!
Gary, very good pictures. Your Pine Grosbeaks are quite different in colors, then the one we get here. What a difference. You and Resin have made my day, concerning the Hoary Redpoll. Thank you
Resin, I"ve downloaded the form for the NB- ID report. And will try to fill it out the best I can. Thanks for the links.
Gardenpom, those painted buntings are just gorgeous! Wish we had them here!
Great pics everyone!
Love them all! Love all the Goldfinches, Tufted Titmice, Redpolls, Pine Grosbeaks, Blue Tits, the White Breasted Nuthatch, the Chickadee, the Downy Woodpecker, the Blue Jay, the Buntings and the Cardinal photos!
Thanks for sharing them!
Marilyn
Awesome find, Burn!! That Hoary (hopefully!) Redpoll is gorgeous!!
Great capture of the Blue Tit taking off, Wallaby!
Very nice shot of the Chickadee, Pelle!
Then of course the awesome Painted Buntings, Gardenpom!
Looks like everyone had a great day again.
Here's my cute little Downy enjoying the suet
Love your Blue Jay pictures, Nanny! And how come you have Red Breasted Nuthatches, and I don't? I'm a bit jealous down here. ;)
Good morning everyone! These threads fly by so fast! :o I don't have any new birds to show either. I have had the same ones coming for awhile now. BUT, yesterday, for the first time, a Bald Eagle was soaring over the house! That was SO exciting to see, but unfortunately, I didn't have my camera with me. sigh! I have been waiting for almost 3 years to see one of them come as far as my house and I get caught without a camera. But it was still awesome to see. :-)
Here's a flock of Goldfinches and some Purple Finches chowing down on the seeds this morning. it was cloudy and the pictures weren't all that great, but here is a couple. I do believe the GF's are getting a little more color, too.
