Resin, I hope you are right about spring being on the move...I am tired of cold weather.

Nice pic of the Grackle GP...I've never seen one here.

Here is an American Goldfinch taken thru the window but it shows how yellow they are turning.

Bend, OR(Zone 5a)

Nice pics everyone, l got this one of a Cooper's Hawk the other day. Unfortunately it's not very clear of it's face as it moved just as I snapped the shot. The birds were scattering in every direction and one of my cats was wanting to catch the Hawk. She's not very smart in that department! lol!

My little Scottie goes nuts when she sees a hawk, even it it's waaay up high. Can't stop her barking once she spots one.

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

great pictures everyone.

We also had a Hawk here 2 days ago, checking the birds. I wanted a picture, but he flew off before I could get it. I couldn't tell which one he was. A bit to far. I'm sure he'll be showing up again.
A few years ago we had a Merlin eating his catch, in the tree beside our patio. I lost that picture on a bad CD.

An Hairy WP on the log, checking the suet.

Female Red-bellied Woodpecker
She has rarely been seen over the last couple of months, though males come almost everyday. I'm not sure why.

I haven't been able to get as close as some of you to the feeders, but at least these pics are a little better than the last. First off....lots of american goldfinches this morning.

Cute GF pics, Dellrose! Mine aren't turning yellow yet. :(

Congrats on seeing the Female Red Bellied Woodpecker, Nanny! I've only seen males here, but there's gotta be females somewhere. :)

Awesome about your Blue Bird, Broncbuster!! I'm definitely going to try to attract them this spring. I hope they nest for you!

This House Sparrow looks like he's thinking "I could be a hawk!"

I'm jealous of the Blue Birds Bronc!

Nanny, Burn and Blue Eyes...very nice pics!

Thanks Indiana Lily...I just noticed them starting to turn about 2 weeks ago and their heads are starting to get their black feathers. At first I thought they were from fighting or something! We seem to be having the same birds lately...I just spotted a House Sparrow this morning for the first time. My pic didn't turn out at all but yours looks great!

Rose

Jeffersonville, IN(Zone 6b)

Thanks, Rose!
I'll have to go out and pay more attention to my GF now that it is a balmy 27. :)
I've been trying for days to get a good shot of the Eastern Towhee that showed up, and finally today, I was able to. :)
