I thought my hummer(s) were Ruby-throats, but now I am not so sure after looking at this website:

I joined this site to log in my hummer sightings and to learn more.
Here is the YouTube link again to a close-up video of my hummer. The back does look green, but it has that white chest and neck, so am wondering if it might be a Rufous instead? Any idea?

Does anyone know of a good website that shows female hummers? Being new to seeing them, I am sure having a hard time telling what species they are!
CLOSED: Rufous or Ruby-throat?

Cute video....she does look confused about the frog.LOL......She looks like a Rufous to me....I had several in Ca. and a pair that stayed all winter.
I'll see if I can find the site I had for hummers . It was a good one and set up per region of the states..
