Pardon my ignorance, but I too thought I would die young and here I am facing retirement and have no clue how things work.
I presently have health insurance through work and believe it can continue when I retire if I pay the monthly cost that I presently pay, but what and when and how does Medicare work?
Do I drop my present insurance when I sign up?
Is there a monthly fee for medicare, is it the same for everyone?
When am I eligible, heard I must sign up by 65?
