Klamath River, CA

The Klamath River, Ca. post master has feeders behind the post office and they attract quite a variety of birds. I stopped there today and took 100 pics. I've narrowed it down to 10.

Thanks pelle............I didn't have to take these through a window and most of the pics were taken under twenty feet away.

I have never even heard of a Golden-crowned sparrow and tonight I got to see a picture. Thanks!

Quoting:
wow, look how yellow your goldfinches are!!!

That's because they're a different species, Lesser Goldfinch, which doesn't get so dull in winter. They don't occur in IL, only western, CA & ID across to TX and down into Mexico.

Ah… well that would explain it. But they are not "less-er" yellow, they are "more-er" yellow. Ha.

P.U. stinky joke!!
