I'm not sure I'm getting the idea of this forum right so just tell me if not and I'll ask for it to be deleted.
I read this article at Time.com http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1701221,00.html?xid=feed-yahoo-healthsci
The main issue of this article is that the food crop products that they want to use for biofuel drives the food prices way up. So they're considering a crop that grows in poor soil and that doesn't really require being farmed and isn't sold as a food crop, which is switchgrass.
Switchgrass is found in the prairies of The Midwest. My question is, wouldn't that destroy the prairies?
New idea for biofuel?
