Ok, this is the last. It's a picture of a Carolina Wren that I caught on film. The first one I have seen here.
DAILY PICS VOL. 53
could this be a white heron?
Great Egret or Snowy Egret. Can't tell which for certain with the distance; it looks to have a yellow bill (=Great Egret), but the dainty structure more suggests Snowy Egret.
When was the pic taken? Doesn't look exactly like January in Missouri!

Nice pics CW!
Wow, have I ever missed a lot the last few days!! Awesome shots everyone, and congrats on your Carolina Wren, Creekwalker!
I just had a swarm of Starlings invade my back yard. They just kept coming and coming, and even when standing inside, when they took off, I could hear the rush of their wings. For a minute, I felt like I was in a version of the movie "The Birds!" Not the best picture, but here's a portion of them in the back yard....
WOW indiana, okay you have me beat w/ your number of European Starlings!
Hi Resin, the picture was taken in the late Spring. And yes, he did have a yellow bill. Great Egret?
Nice pics indiana!!
