Ok, this is the last. It's a picture of a Carolina Wren that I caught on film. The first one I have seen here.

Wow, have I ever missed a lot the last few days!! Awesome shots everyone, and congrats on your Carolina Wren, Creekwalker!

I just had a swarm of Starlings invade my back yard. They just kept coming and coming, and even when standing inside, when they took off, I could hear the rush of their wings. For a minute, I felt like I was in a version of the movie "The Birds!" Not the best picture, but here's a portion of them in the back yard....

on to more colorful birds, here's a Cardinal checking out the inventory ....

Hi Resin, the picture was taken in the late Spring. And yes, he did have a yellow bill. Great Egret?
