I decided to run 1,000 miles this year and it’s still early enough to join me. I think it would be more fun to do it together. If 1,000 is too much set your own goal and keep track of your distance. This has really helped my motivation. Instead of running to burn calories, I’m burning miles and having fun doing it because I’m really challenging myself.
I started with 20 miles per week. 4 miles 5 days a week (mostly walking) The first week almost killed me but now that I’m in my second week I have a lot more energy and am jogging more. So far I’ve gone 27 miles.
