frozen grocery store FISH

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Is it really good for you?

I buy the frozen wild alaska salmon as much as possible, I try to keep it in the house .

Twice now i've bought the big box at walmart of the individually frozen tilapia filets. I just read , that it contains carbon monoxide. I had no idea. Did a little research and found they do this to help retain whiteness and it's quite a common practice among frozen fish. That is white.

I'm definitely going to have to go back to wild oats in Little rock and see if I can get some frozen tilapia there. And I guess i'm gonna take it off our menus, I'm not really sure how it affects one. Does anybody else know? is it enough to be harmful? Ican't imagine eating something that's been smoked in carbon monoxide.
