Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Hi kids! Happy New Year!

I wondered if anybody who knows a little about cranberries could help Elsa out with a few questions she has. I started to help her, but I am in waaay over my head.

Hello, from Cranberry Land!
I sent Elsa from South Africa a couple of good cranberry links. These are the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers Association website: www.cranberries.org and the University of Massachusetts-Amherst Cranberry Station website: www.umass.edu/cranberry which are both great sources of information about Vaccinium macrocarpon, or the North American cranberry. UMass-Amherst is, among other things, the state agricultural college. UMass-Amherst is also my daughter's college. Go UMass!!! Both sites have great information about cranberry growing conditions and links to other cranberry sites.
I hope this gives her the information that she needs!
Happy New Year,
Martha
