Are VermiPods any good?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 4b)

I just gambled fifteen bucks and ordered some VermiPods. Has anybody here had any experience with them?

wow - PP, is that a kit? =:0)

Have not tried this one, but Territorial is a longtime excellent resource for me. I had thought about doing the worm bins years ago, but there are so many worms in my compost, that i could go into business as a worm farmer. Be nice to them - give them coffee like we do up here near Seattle. It'll help them zip through their days...

OK what exactly is a vermipod i deal in worms and don't know what this is

It's a worm egg wrapped in clay. You stick it in the dirt and the clay melts away after a week or two.

Supposedly.

So is that your own worms that you got from your pods?

Interesting!

That's pretty neat. I do believe I have finally convinced the DH that having a worm bin under the kitchen sink would be just the deal...........evil smile!

That's the picture from the Territorial Seeds web site. The link is in the first post.

I just planted the VermiPods into my biggest containers out in my sun room two days ago. We'll soon see what happens.
