Coupons for digital TV

No doubt you've heard/read about the $40 coupons the government has available for folks receiving TV transmissions via antennas. They became available yesterday. Two coupons are allowed per household. The digital transmissions do not begin until Feb.18, 2009, but my hunch is the demand for the coupons will be strong, so acting on the offer fairly soon might be wise.

If signals are received by satellite or cable, converter boxes are not needed.

There are several ways to request the coupons -

The program is administered by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. http://www.ntia.doc.gov
