Went to bed this am with rain and woke up this am with rain, we were suppose to get 5 to 9"s of snow but all we have so far is a dusting...

I haven't been around much the last few days, I have got a sick baby on my hands. she is resting right now so thought I would just jump on long enough to wish you all a Happy New Year.

Happy New Year Connie and to everyone else!!!!! We got about 3 inches of snow last night and it is still snowing a bit now.

Connie, I hope your baby gets better. My little granddaughter wasn't feeling well last night when we were babysitting her. She just crawled up in my lap and drank a bottle of juice and passed out for hours. I've never seen her so quiet. She had a little cough. Wouldn't eat her dinner. Poor thing. I hate it when little ones are sick.

The sun is shining here. Going to go find me some black eyed peas to fix for dinner today to bring good luck into the new year.
