Cat--I love Congo! Is that one you got from Matt or was it from somewhere else? That one's definitely on my list for next year!

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Liz, got it from Matt.
It's one of Barry's new ones for 2008.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Congo has an amazing variety of colors; I don't think I could describe that beauty if I tried.

Here's a pic of Zoey this morning. Most pale indoors but this flower is darker. Go figure.

Cat, your Congo is just stunning!!! Definitely a "gotta have"!

Ardesia, I love that little Zoey. Mine has several little buds now, so I hope they open and don't drop.

All beautiful blooms!

Zoey is adorable and I love the color of the pink.

Karen,
shocked you don't already have Congo, lol.

ps...
here is Congo on her second day

ardesia, I take it that these are annuals. cause all mine here in VA. are history. except the one in the green house. I'm hoping to get out there today and dig them up, before I lose them. Mike

Congo is a beauty. Buff Beauty is also a great looking color. I'm wondering if Santa will make late spring deliveries to Iowa.

Jacksonville, FL(Zone 9a)

Mike, they are very tender and would not make it where you are. I am in zone 9a and most of them do OK outside in pots or in the ground for me - if I can keep them on the dry side. However, I would not chance a young plant outdoors; some of mine are many years old.
