Great pic tiger, I took some today of a blackbird preening itself but it was only a little sunny.
NM_Jane. that's a busy feeder, wow 70 degrees, we should be warming up to 50F (10C) on Sunday but it's been hanging around the mid to high 30'sF.
The sky behind the blackbird was blue, but on the south side the sun was being hidden somewhat by clouds. I like to watch blackbirds preen, they are entertaining.
Daily Pics Vol. 42
There was a Pied Wagtail on the roof with sparrows, this one has a lot of white on it's throat. The last one in the field (juvenile) was different, but I don't think this is a female.
Ther is a 'race alba' one, but that also has more black on the throat.

Jane,
Nice pics! Love the adorable Cactus Wren! We had a Mockingbird last Summer that didn't have a tail, but eventually, it grew slowly to a tail the right size!
Nice bird activity in your one pic with all the birds! Every so often, we'll see a Brown Trasher here! Interesting beak of your Curve-billed Thrasher.
GP,
Nice pic of your Hawk!
Debnes,
Love the pics of all the birds splashing and having fun! Nice pics!
Pelle & Debnes,
Thanks! We see the Tree Sparrow in the Winter 'some to most' times and I'm always thrilled/excited, but this was the first time I've seen him on a feeder! (to get a pic of him on a feeder).
Tiger,
Beautiful, sweet and adorable pic of the Tree Swallow! Neat that you captured that pose! I'll let you know, if and when, I get that new Fuji camera with the 18 zoom. I just got to keep working on DH to let me get it! ;-)
Mrs. Ed,
Nice pic of the White Throated Sparrow! Love to see them come from the north for the cold months! Love their sweet song too! Beautiful and sweet birds!
Wallaby,
Nice pics of the Blackbird! Love the orange beak against the blue sky!
Some of the lunch bunch today!

Len, which one?
Pelletory, thanks! I've always wondered what he is. Like I said, I'm still trying to learn to identify my feathered friends. Oh, and it should be noted that I no longer live in Alaska. I'm in NC now, but haven't changed my location. Once I figure out how to do that, I will.
Burn,
Redpolls are so sweet, adorable and irresistible! I just love them and wish we got them here!
All nice pics!
MrsKinsey,
I love the Junco's! So sweet and adorable!
Nice pics!
Pelle,
Thanks!
Adel,
LOL! Nice pice!
GP,
Nice pic of a beautiful female RBW! Nice pic of the Grackel!
Marilyn
Very nice pic adel!!!
Nice pics GP!
Thanks pelle and Marilyn! Not many opportunites to get pics just now, I saw two magpies fly past the house but it's so dull today and of course I didn't have my camera. They looked totally black.
Marilyn, you seem to be inundated with hungry birds!
burn, lots of redpolls there, they are fairly rare here.
Adelbert, two one legged geese, are they doing a square dance, lol.
Beautiful grackle shot Gardenpom!
All I have left is one from last night, as I was taking pics of the moon as night set in these birds, crows I think, were going around in circles in near formation, they would suddenly change direction and swoop upwards. There was another I cut off, they were going too fast to get a good pic.
I am enjoying all your pics everyone! No sun here so no new pics from the Ozarks.
Great birds you guys!
Welcome aboard Ms Kinsey!
