Nice shot! Cold little bird feet!

Your little Sisken is remarkable. You guys seem to have quit a bit of snow too. We felt the storm here too, not as bad as the last one though. But enough for the birds to congregate at the feeders.

Lots of great pics from everyone! ;-)

That dove and sisken are so sweet!

Nice pics Burn. That poor Grosbeak! You may have to change your name to Brrrrr!

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

The weather has calm down, but we did have a lot of snow. Brrrrrr for sure, That's why I take my pictures from the bathroom window LOL.
This is how much we got. My DH was passing the snowblower in the driveway this morning, and the snow was up to his knees.

Burn,

Nice pics! Sounds like you got the very windy (very cold and raw) day we just had. You got alot more snow than we did. How many feet is that in that last photo?

Marilyn

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

Marilyn, I think it was about 1 1/2'. It kept my son, who was down for a visit, busy in the backyard all afternoon.
Clearing the pathway to the shed and patio, plus the patio itself.

Don't forget to keep a close eye out for Arctic Redpolls!

Resin

What is the difference? I have a picture here of a Hoary Redpoll that would be found in the Arctic area. Is that the one? He looks grayer then the ones I've seen here. I can send more pictures of the ones I get here, and you can probably tell me if they're here.

Yep, Hoary Redpoll is just an alternative name for Arctic Redpoll: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arctic_Redpoll
None of the ones in the pics look too convincing for Arctic Redpoll, but it isn't easy to see the diagnostic features (really need to see the rump and under-tail coverts).

Resin

Ok thanks Resin, I'll watch for that, and try to get better pictures.
